About Us
The Society of Light-saber Duelists UNLV is the flagship branch of the nationally-recognized performance organization that specializes in quality choreographed lightsaber duels for stage and screen performances.
We’ve performed at various events and venues across the Las Vegas Valley such as the Hard Rock, Caesars Palace, Discovery Children’s Museum, Opportunity Village, and Make-a-Wish.
Our members create their own unique characters, costumes, styles, and choreography, which means our performances are totally unique.
We also produce our own media projects, such as videos, photo series, and merchandise. All of our behind-the-scenes work, like technical production, make up, and cast and crew, are solely done by our members.

Q: Who can join SoLD UNLV?
A: SoLD UNLV is open to all UNLV students and public members*. No experience is necessary to join; we teach you everything you need to be a part of the organization.

We do have a cutoff date when we no longer accept new members for the semester, so reach out as soon into any given semester as possible.
Q: Does SoLD UNLV do free sparring?
A: No, we do not. Everything we perform is choreographed and practiced far in advance to a performance. We only do saber-on-saber contact, and no body contact.
